DARTSPY HAS GIVEN UP THE GHOST DUE TO THE LATE DELIVERY OF RESULTS
HIS EFFORTS WERE GREATLY APPRECIATED, BUT SADLY, ULTIMATELY WERE IN VAIN.
Dartspy week five.
As said on the main page this weeks results are a little late due to a mobile malfunction on John's behalf, personally i believe he hasn't paid his bill but i am sure John will say otherwise?
Division one.
The top of the table clash between the Railway Telegraph and the Penge ended with the Railway winning
8-5 enabling them to stretch their lead at the top to three points over the now second Bricklayers who won a close looking 7-6 win over the Rising Sun thus keeing their unbeaten start to the league going.
This week will see the now top two the Railway and the Bricklayers clash at the Railway with both teams looking to go into the pairs the following week with a winning boost.
The Navy club have finally found their feet in division one with a third consecutive 9-4 victory, this week over the Goldsmith.
Completing the division the Nap A chalked up a second consecutive win 10-3 over the Brockley social A who are still looking to break their duck this season.
Division two.
And then there was one, one undefeated team left in division two after the Fox lost 9-4 to the Brockley Social B who kept top spot in the division.
The one remaining team undefeated is the Railway Tavern after a comfortable looking 9-4 win over the Catford CC, looks like you have to have "Railway" in your name this season to lead the way but i am sure there will be more twists and turns to come than a roller coaster.
The Livesey beat the Nap B 8-5 to keep the Nap without a win so far this season.
Please don't forget after this week the pairs competition start so ask your captain's where you are and please don't be late as you will not be allowed to participate under any circumstances.
Good luck everyone this week and remember there are only 28 sleeps til christmas.

Dartspy week four.
All results updated by 3-30 p.m. on sunday?
What lies are these? What deceit are you trying? What blatant honest to goodness unspeakable foulness are you attempting on the good people of the FHDDL?
Never in the field of darting conflict was so much owed by so few.
All hearts go out to the arrows thrower, whose brilliant actions we see with our own eyes thursday after thursday; but we must never forget that all the time, thursday after thursday, month after month, our dart squadrons travel far into Penge, find their targets in the darkness by the highest sat nav skill, aim their darts, often under the heaviest of grams, often with complete hope, with deliberate, careful discrimination, and inflict shattering blows upon the whole of the opposing side and ton hitting ability of their power.
Well done anyway to all concerned in getting all the results in so promptly, lets hope it continues throughout the season.
Division two.
What can you say about division two? very strange looking season already having seen the league tables.
It is currently being led by the Brockley B with a record of one win and three losses followed by the Catford CC with a record of two wins and two losses who in turn are followed by the Nap B who have yet to record a victory!
Sitting fourth and fifth still currently unbeaten are the Railway Tavern and the Fox's who have both recorded the same amount of wins as all of the top three teams put together, confused? so was i.
A win for the Fox 7-6 against the Nap B kept their unbeaten record going and matching that score the Livesey triumphed over the Brockley Social B, completing the round up the Catford CC had a nice looking 8-5 win over the Pavilion.
Division one.
And then there was two (undefeated teams) in division one after the Bricklayers recorded a very good win over the Penge Trades 8-5, this keeps them hot on the heels on the top two in the division.
New leaders of division one are the Railway Telegraph after a 8-5 victory over the Goldsmiths but with only two points seperating three teams it looks like a cracker of a season coming up.
The Nap A recorded a long overdue first win of the season 7-6 over the Rising Sun and the Navy Club have slipped up to fourth place after a good win 9-4 over the Brockley Social A who are still chasing that elusive first win of the season.
Good luck everyone this week and keep those results coming in promptly.

Dartspy - weeks one, two & three.
Congratulations and jubilations i want the world to know i'm happy as can be!
Finally we have an updated list of results and fixtures for people to peruse, congratulations to John for being proactive with collating the results goes to show the faults with the updating didn't lie with him.
Lets start with division two.
The Railway Tavern have started the season a perfect three from three, the only team currently undefeated in division two after three games played, congratulations to the Railway.
The Fox are also unbeaten but have only played two games but a 8-5 win in their game in hand will see them join the Railway at the top.
Currently lying second are the Brockley B after one win and two defeats, third are the Nap B who are yet to record a victory after three narrow defeats.
Catford CC are just three points of second after three games winning one and losing two.
The Pavillion and the Livesey make up the bottom two with identical records of one win and one loss but these two teams have played a game less than every one in the league barring the afore mentioned Fox.
Now for division one.
Three teams still remain unbeaten after three games, the Penge, Railway Telegraph and the Bricklayers.
The Penge lead the way at the top after three very impressive looking wins to forge a two point lead over the Railway Telegraph who are also two points clear of the Bricklayers.
Something has to give this week as the first and third teams play each other at the Brick.
The Goldsmiths lead the best of the rest after one win and two defeats followed by the Navy and the Rising Sun who also have the same identical records.
Bringing up the rear are the Nap A and the Brockley A who are both yet to record a victory between them, lets hope their luck changes this week.
As John has said the early days of this new results/tables page is in it's infantcy so please bear with him until he can make it "AESTHETICALLY" pleasing on the eye.
Congratulations to the committee on presentation night, another well organised event even if it was held in a club with no affiliation to the league, rather strange as surely we should be supporting the pubs and clubs who do support our league?
Lets hope this is the start of a bright new future for our website? Don't forget you also have John's number now to text through your results, as John has said this does not affect you texting the results to Sue and Chris.
New season new start? perhaps not!
With the winter season commencing we have reverted to just two leagues, fifteen teams in total and only seven league games, easy to get a regular updated results list surely?
How wrong can you be!
Forgive my ignorance but before every game the team sheets are signed and after the game has finished the respective captains swap the finished result sheets?
Then at some stage between thursday night and sunday night the captains phone/text/e-mail the results to the administrator of their leagues?
They then in turn relate these results to the websites administrator who updates the result section?
Easy then? apparently not!
How can we send a man to the moon or make the hadron collider collide or clone a sheep but a group of grown adults can't relay a simple message? "the dog and duck won 8-5 against the ship", that took me all of five seconds to do but it seems to be a problem for some people.
Where is this going wrong? are the captains not calling through their results? if so isn't it about time points get deducted? is the league administrator not passing them on to the webiste administrator? if so then this person shouldn't be running a league if they can't collate three or four results? is it the website administrator who isn't publishing the results? if so then get someone in who can do it.
Our website used to be a five star hotel but now it looks like a run down butlins holiday camp in need of renovating.
Perhaps it time to close it down? i would put it out for comment but i would be surprised if anyone actually uses it anymore!
